Main Purpose of Job
This merit recruitment is open for multiple positions. The main purpose of these positions are to obtain, analyze and interpret data for the Community Forensic Aftercare Program (CFAP) consistent with Criminal Procedures Article 3, inclusive of statutory changes effective on October 1, 2024. The CFAP unit serves at the behest of the Maryland Court System and is responsible for monitoring individuals who have pleaded Not Criminally Responsible and are released into the community on conditional release. These employees assist in the administration of CFAP and provide support to the Manager in supervising the operational aspects within CFAP. These positions are responsible for obtaining, researching and compiling data from Maryland Electronic Courts (MDEC) and Salesforce. These employees are also responsible for interpreting and analyzing data trends from MDEC and Salesforce, responding to requests for data, and compiling that data for consumers and other stakeholders. These positions will assist with planning revisions of CFAP procedures as indicated by statutory changes and unit demands. Thes employees will consult with the Program Manager regarding policies, unit, and Departmental trends. These employees will function as an initial point of contact for internal stakeholders, working collaboratively with HIMS, and the Office of the Attorney General, to prepare statistical tables, charts and reports, work-flow charts, staffing patterns, organizational charts for CFAP-monitored individuals and fulfill the court-required business needs of the unit.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: One year of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience. 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess the following: Experience providing legal and/or clinical administrative support. Experience obtaining, researching and compiling data. Experience preparing statistical tables, charts, reports, legal filings, and staffing patterns.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates may be responsible for providing their own transportation as needed to access meetings, remote locations, and job destinations as assigned.
