Behavioral Health Supervisor

Requirements
Eighth level Behavioral Health professional serving as the departmental director in a hospital or facility setting and who is accountable for program and policy development and review. Professionals in this classification monitor and evaluate behavioral health treatment programs and services to ensure continuance of quality services and compliance with contract requirements and state program standards. Individuals in this classification lead the respective department in program development, selection, and implementation of Evidence Based Practices, and often serve on various hospital/facility committees. Assigns, reviews, and evaluates the work of professional and supervisory staff to ensure that work is performed according to agency and facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Requires licensure as a psychologist in Mississippi, a minimum of 6 years of experience as a licensed psychologist, and a minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience.
