Clinical Dietitian
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic team at the Woodward Resource Center (WRC).

What You'll Do
As a Clinical Dietitian at WRC, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care and support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive Assessments: Monitor the nutritional status of assigned individuals. Complete assessment of individuals' nutritional status. Implement appropriate nutritional plans of care, documenting progress and services provided. Complete meal and snack monitoring. Approve and implement diet orders.
- Implementation: Assist in the overall planning and implementation of nutrition services. Participate in menu development to meet standards for general diets, the federal school lunch program, and other clinical and regulating requirements. Develop flow sheets for therapeutic diets and recipes for meal preps. Write individualized therapeutic diets as needed.
- Training: Develop and present staff training such as new employee training of meal service and Physical Nutritional Management standards, special nutrition and dysphagia plans, meal planning, and sanitation.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, fostering a collaborative approach that prioritizes the well-being of each individual.

Qualifications
License to practice as a Dietitian in the State of Iowa, as issued by the Iowa Board of Dietetic Examiners.
