Direct Support Professional

The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the team at the Woodward Resource Center (WRC). As part of the WRC team, you'll:

• Ensure the rights of individuals are respected and upheld.
• Utilize appropriate management and training techniques to address individual needs.
• Provide continuous active treatment programs to promote independence.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for individuals.
• Complete administrative procedures to enhance the WRC mission.
• Assist individuals in developing person-centered Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
• Interact with individuals with sensitivity, dignity, and respect.
