The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Immunization Coordinator within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Nursing Division.

Requirements
Under general supervision, provides technical assistance and training within a public health nursing care specialty. Manages the planning and implementation of a specialty nursing program. Evaluates programs for compliance with state and/or federal guidelines.
- Perform immunization programmatic activities and ensure information and communications are disseminated to all public health clinics in district’s service area
- Actively promote the importance of immunizations, including special promotional activities, and expand knowledge of immunizations throughout the community
- Ensure FCBOH public health clinics are in compliance with state guidelines,
- Perform case management activities
- Ensure immunization assessments are conducted at all childcare, kindergarten, and seventh grade programs in the public and private sectors in district’s service area and provide training or technical assistance when needed
- Collaborate with public health clinics, district leaders, and community leaders to plan and execute School Based Flu clinics and other large-scale vaccination clinics
- Develop community partnerships and collaborate with other health service programs to promote immunizations and address barriers to service
- Serve as the subject matter expert for immunization related questions and activities
Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing, public health or related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of PHN experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified OR Bachelor's degree nursing from an accredited college or university AND Five years of PHN experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified OR Two years of experience at the lower level PH Nursing Prog Consultant 1 (HCP210) or position equivalent AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certified.Employment Information
