Maintenance Specialist
The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) announces an examination process to create an eligibility list to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Maintenance Specialist in the Facilities Department. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to four (4) months.
To perform a wide variety of the more complex and routine electrical, plumbing, equipment and general building maintenance and repair functions related to the care and maintenance of Southern Nevada Health District buildings and facilities
Requirements
Education and Training:
- Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Appropriate journeyman training and/or experience.
Experience:
- Four years of general building maintenance experience
License or Certificate:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate and valid Nevada driver’s license
- Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a journeyman’s license in at least one of the following trades: Electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing or carpentry
