ABOUT THE POSITION
This is specialized medical work examining and treating patients in a municipal health clinic or municipal medical evaluation unit for the Occupational Health specialty only. The employee has a controlling responsibility over the activities of a specialized clinic of a health center for positions in the Health Department. Responsibility for securing and maintaining the patient’s cooperation is a significant aspect of the work. Work is performed under the general supervision of a medical superior.

The following statement represents the minimum training and experience standards which will be used to admit or reject applicants for tests.
ANTICIPATED ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who meet all eligibility requirements within 3 months of the application deadline (June 9, 2025) will be admitted to this examination. Successful candidates will be placed on the eligible list but may not be hired or promoted until all requirements have been satisfied.
1. EDUCATION
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and completion of an internship in an approved hospital.
AND
2. FAMILY MEDICINE, INTERNAL MEDICINE, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND PEDIATRICS SPECIALTIES
Completion of all current formal requirements necessary to be accepted for the initial examinations for certification by the appropriate American Medical or Osteopathic Specialty Board for the area of specialization.
