Public Health Program Administrator

Requirements
The PA-WISE program is a cardiovascular screening and lifestyle program that provides access to healthy living programs targeting low income, underinsured, and uninsured women. Additionally, PA-WISE collaborates with clinics to enhance clinical processes and improve communications among health care team members ultimately leading to higher-quality services for clients.
In this position, you will primarily focus on program data and evaluation, managing the web-based data collection system and ensuring the creation and standardization of data analysis and reporting, to meet both Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements and program deliverables. Responsibilities include supervising the evaluation contractor and activities, integrating data analysis with evaluation outcomes, and supporting various program initiatives. These initiatives include the development and delivery of high-quality healthy behavior programs, vendor contracting, invoicing, and efforts to enhance the overall quality of services provided. Please note: This position is currently located in the Cardiovascular Health Section within the Division of Violence Prevention. The position will be moving to the Division of Cancer Prevention and Control to work with the Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention Program due to both programs serving the same population.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time with a minimum of one day per month in the office and quarterly in-person bureau meetings. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
