This position serves as the Caro Psychiatric Hospital’s Quality and Compliance Director assuring compliance with Joint Commission Standards, Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMMS) Regulations, DHHS policies and procedures, State of Michigan Administrative Rules and Laws that apply to the hospital. This position is responsible for collecting and analyzing data for risk management, liability and vulnerability factors, program effectiveness and efficiency, and measurement of outcomes to prepare the hospital for unannounced Joint Commission or CMMS surveys. The incumbent of this position provides management and supervision to the Quality & Compliance, Medical Records, and Staff Development departments within the hospital and works with all hospital departments in performance improvement and in the development of data, evaluations, and compliance. Reviews Incident Reports and reports problems/discrepancies to the Hospital Director.

Requirements
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.
State Administrative Manager 15Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, one year of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
